Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the number of freedom of information requests received by his Department that the Chief State Solicitor's office has incurred expenses on dealing with for each of the past three years and to date in 2017; and the amount of fees for counsel and other legal costs incurred respectively, for each of the past three years and to date in 2017. The Chief State Solicitor's Office has provided advice to my Department on one Freedom of Information request of the total received by the Department in the past three years and to date in 2017. Any expenses incurred during the period specified by the Deputy, are a matter for the Chief State Solicitor's Office.
