371. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the number of social workers employed by Tusla; the number of social workers registered with CORU, the social workers' register; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12747/17]

Tusla has advised that as of the end of January 2017 the number of Social Workers employed by Tusla was 1467.45 Whole Time Equivalent. They have also confirmed that all practising social workers in Tusla are registered with CORU.
