My Department generally avails of the legal services of the Chief State Solicitor’s Office. However, occasionally it engages private Solicitor Firms and Junior and Senior Counsel for external legal advice. Details of such engagements are provided in the table for 2015 and 2016. Currently there is no expenditure on legal advice for 2017.
