Deputy John Brady asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his Department is responsible for informing the Department of Social Protection of increased pupil numbers in primary schools that are in receipt of school meals programme funding; the way in which this information is supplied to the Department of Social Protection; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department has provided DSP with basic school data, including total number of pupils, in comma-separated value (CSV) format to assist DSP in the development of their new School Meals Programme application.
