534. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Social Protection the status of an application for an invalidity pension for a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13635/17]
View answerFollowing a review of her claim the lady referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 19 January 2017. Payment will issue to her nominated bank account on 30 March 2017. Any arrears due from 19 January 2017 to 29 March 2017 (less any overlapping social welfare payment and/or outstanding overpayment) will issue in due course. The lady in question was notified of this decision on the 15 March 2017.
