Questions (631)

Alan Kelly

Question:

631. Deputy Alan Kelly asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he will confirm that in line with the one-person, one-salary principle, no public servant who is a member of a State board or agency under the control of his Department is currently in receipt of remuneration in the form of board fees and that if any such remuneration is being paid, it will be discontinued and payments that were wrongfully paid will be reclaimed. The Public Appointments Service (PAS) is the only State Board under the remit of my Department. I can confirm that no public servant on the PAS Board is given any payment for their services on that board.
