746. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Health the number of social workers who have been investigated and prosecuted to date for operating with the title of social worker but without being registered with CORU since registration became mandatory in 2013. [12924/17]

In accordance with the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005, the Social Workers Registration Board is responsible for ensuring that only suitably qualified and registered health professionals can use the protected title of social worker. Therefore I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the board for direct reply.
