Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Taoiseach the number of freedom of information requests received by his Department in respect of which the Chief State Solicitor's office has incurred expenses for the past three years and in 2017 to date; and the amount of fees for counsel and other legal costs incurred respectively for each of the past three years and in 2017 to date. My Department did not receive any Freedom of Information requests during the period in question which required the involvement of the Chief State Solicitor's Office. Consequently the question of payment for counsel fees or other legal costs does not arise.
