Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the reason the request for tenders for the passenger ferry to Tory Island, County Donegal (details supplied), was altered in a significant way from awarding 80 extra marks for maintaining the main boat on the island; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy will appreciate that the Toraigh passenger ferry service is currently the subject of a live tender process and it would be wholly inappropriate to comment publicly on the detail of that process at this stage.
