Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the number of private investigation firms hired by his Department in the past five years and to date in 2017; the names of the firms; the amount they were paid; if they supplied his Department with a report on completion of their work; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
