273. Deputy Josepha Madigan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of a recent application by a school (details supplied) for funding for security measures following a recent fire on its premises. [16568/17]
View answerThe funding request to which the Deputy refers has been assessed in my Department. However, as the application is outside the scope of the Emergency Works Scheme and as my Department does not fund monitored security systems, the application was refused. The school has been informed accordingly.
