View answerUnder the EU Regulations governing GLAS and all other area-based payment schemes, a full check, including cross-checks with the Land Parcel Identification System must take place before payment can issue. Cases are being worked through on an ongoing basis and all cases which pass all of the regulatory checks and cleared for payment are paid on a weekly basis. There are currently 3,880 GLAS cases which have not been fully processed to payment stage for 2016.
