Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Health the redress that is available to a person (details supplied) who was placed in a county home by the courts and in which legal fairness appears to be constricted to ensure they are not compensated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerFrom the details provided this matter would appear to be appropriate for my colleague Minister for Education and Skills to address regarding the redress scheme application as made by the individual in question. The Deputy may also wish to contact the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs as the individual was a minor when placed in the county home mentioned.
