Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of persons participating in the beef data genomics scheme; the number of new farmers who have joined since the scheme reopened; the number of persons who have withdrawn from the scheme who originally had applications approved; the number of applications deemed ineligible; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
