The regulation of the small public service vehicle industry, including the granting of local area hackney licences, is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Act 2013.

I have therefore referred your question to the NTA for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to advise my private office if he does not receive a response within 10 working days.

The referred reply under Standing Order 42A was forwarded to the Deputy.
