Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if consultants have been appointed to oversee a review of Bus Éireann; the way in which the consultants were chosen; if a tender process was in place; the closing date for applications; if this matter was publicly advertised; the amount of time he expects the review process to take; and if it will be open to public tender. I have not appointed any consultants nor have I initiated any such review.

I have forwarded the Deputy's question to Bus Éireann for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to advise my private office if he does not receive a response within ten working days.
