Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the status of a green low-carbon agri-environment scheme, GLAS, application by a person (details supplied); the reason a decision has not been made to date in view of the fact that they only have ten days to carry out the action; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine

The person named submitted an application under Tranche 3 of GLAS and has been approved into the scheme with a contract commencement date of 1 January 2017.

My Department has contacted the person named to confirm his acceptance into the scheme and informed him to proceed with his GLAS actions. The Scheme approval letter for the person named will issue shortly.
