205. Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Health the estimated cost of the retention of the delivery of Dublin’s ambulance service with the Dublin Fire Brigade. [26071/17]
View answerDublin Fire Brigade (DFB) provide emergency ambulance services in Dublin city and county, by arrangement between Dublin City Council and the HSE. The HSE National Ambulance Service (NAS) provides some emergency capacity in the greater Dublin area, as well as non-emergency patient transport.
I have asked the HSE to respond to the Deputy directly with information on the costs associated with this arrangement.
