146. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the number of IDA sites that are vacant, not occupied or not in use; the length of time that they have not been in use; if some of the sites not in use have been rented to local authorities for uses other than their original purpose; if so, the location of each, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The following table sets out IDA properties that are currently available to prospective investors.

To date, IDA Ireland has not rented properties to local authorities for uses other than their original purpose.

The IDA does not release details regarding the length of time that particular sites have remained vacant as such information is commercially sensitive.
