Deputy John Brady asked the Minister for Social Protection if a lone parent has had their one parent family payment suspended, reduced or removed on the grounds of not seeking maintenance from the other parent; and if so, the number of instances in which this has this happened in each of the years 2014 to 2016 and to date in 2017; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The information requested in respect of lone parents who have had their one parent family payment suspended, reduced or removed on the grounds of not seeking maintenance from the other parent during each of the years 2014 to 2016 and to date in 2017 is not available in my Department.
