Deputy John Brady asked the Minister for Social Protection if a lone parent has had their one parent family payment suspended, reduced or removed on the grounds of not seeking maintenance from the other parent; and if so, the number of instances in which this has this happened in each of the years 2014 to 2016 and to date in 2017; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
