Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Education and Skills the number of civil servants in his Department that have requested a transfer to a location outside County Dublin; the number of civil servants in his Department that have requested a transfer from a location outside of Dublin into County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not hold a record of staff who apply for transfers to other Departments/ Locations. Staff apply to the relevant Department either directly or via the Central Applications Facility (CAF) which is managed by the Public Appointments Service (PAS).
