Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government the discussions his Department has had with a firm (details supplied) regarding the company establishing a special purpose vehicle to build 1,000 social and affordable homes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. While my Department is aware of the proposal referenced, it has not had discussions with the company in question in respect of this proposal.
