219. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of EU member states that have both a suckler cow welfare scheme and an agri-environmental beef measure in operation under the regional development plan. [31938/17]
View answerThere are 118 Rural Development Programmes across the EU for the 2014-2020 programme period implemented via 20 measures and 67 sub-measures. The breakdown of specific measures per Member State as sought by the Deputy is not readily available. However, information on individual Rural Development Programmes are accessible on the European Commission's website (link supplied) and may be of interest to the Deputy.
