Deputy Willie O'Dea asked the Minister for Education and Skills the reason an application for a contract of indefinite duration is being processed and another is not (details supplied), in view of the fact that the two persons that applied for contracts of indefinite duration did not meet the criteria and both were outside the four-week deadline; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department Officials are unable to identify the applicant from the details supplied with the question. If the Deputy wishes to forward more details of the applicant to my Department the issue raised by the Deputy will be investigated.
