250. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Education and Skills the number of applications under section 29 of the Education Acts to allow for pupils to be enrolled in a school that have been made in respect of a location (details supplied) in 2016 and to date in 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The position is that my Department does not hold statistics for individual schools for section 29 appeals. This protects the privacy of individuals taking appeals on behalf of their children.
