Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the details of the research and investigations undertaken which led to the observation submitted by the Commissioners of Irish Lights in its role as a named external consultee advising the Minister for Housing, Planning Community and Local Government on the foreshore lease planning application (details supplied) on Galway Bay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he has satisfied himself regarding the submitted observation in respect of the foreshore lease planning application (details supplied) on Galway Bay in view of the fact that the Commissioners of Irish Lights held that as the site is within the current wave energy test site, Irish lights have no objections to the proposed developments; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
