Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he will prioritise increasing the budget to the Department of Social Protection in budget 2018, in view of the fact that many payments are still behind the rate they were in 2009; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
