Deputy Bobby Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will reconsider the application for temporary accommodation by a school (details supplied) with a view to increasing the funding allocation in line with the original sum requested for urgent works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that my Department approved funding to the school in question to construct a permanent special education tuition room. The room in question is the standard room provided for this purpose. My Department has written to the school recently to clarify the position relating to its application.
