View answerI have asked Payroll Shared Services Centre to run the necessary report to estimate the cost to the Department of introducing a minimum wage of €15 an hour for all employees under the aegis of the Department.
The estimated cost is approximately €1.48 million per annum.
This figure does not include the cost of temporary staff that may be employed by this Department from time to time.
