952. Deputy Ruth Coppinger asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the cost to introduce a minimum weekly gross wage of €600 for all full-time employees under the aegis of his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [34584/17]

Based on the introduction of a minimum weekly gross wage of €600, the estimated additional cost to the Departments payroll at present would be approximately €1,200,000. This figure however does not include the costs associated with Temporary Clerical Officers.

The parallel information in respect if State Bodies under the Aegis of this Department is a matter for the bodies themselves.
