1243. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of staff in his Department who are suspended from work on full pay; the reason in each case; the length of time in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [36723/17]
View answerMy Department currently has a single employee suspended from work without prejudice, on full pay. Given that the requested information relates to a single individual, it has the potential to either identify that individual or to make information specific to that individual known to his/her colleagues or to others who may be aware of his/her suspension. As a result I am not in a position to provide any of the requested information at this time other than to say that no replacement salary costs have been incurred.
