Deputy Mary Butler asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason independent mediation services were not employed in respect of a case with the Irish Coast Guard (details supplied); the reason the Irish Coast Guard did not request such mediation services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
