Deputy Jack Chambers asked the Minister for Health if he is satisfied that ophthalmological services at the Mater hospital are sufficiently resourced to cope with the demands on the service; if his attention has been drawn to the lengthy waiting times for ophthalmic treatment at the hospital and the risk of persons losing their sight as a result; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
