Deputy Brendan Smith asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding a proposed building project at a school (details supplied); when this project will proceed to construction stage in view of the need to provide upgraded facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe Deputy will be aware that a building project for the school to which he refers in the details supplied was included in my Department's 6 Year Capital Programme.
I wish to advise the Deputy that legal matters associated with the site transfer are currently being progressed. When finalised, my Department will liaise directly with the school authority regarding the building project.
