536. Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Health if he will ensure that the €40 million towards community supports for persons with dementia which is being proposed by an organisation (details supplied) is included in budget 2018; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39902/17]

Minister of State at the Department of Health

The level of funding available for my Department is being considered as part of the national Estimates and budgetary process for 2018 which is currently under way. Pending completion of this process it is not appropriate for me to comment further at this stage.
