218. Deputy John Lahart asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of homicides in each of the years 2010 to 2016, inclusive, and to date in 2017, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [40501/17]
View answerI have requested a report from the Garda authorities in relation to this matter and I will contact the Deputy again when this report is to hand. The Deputy will wish to note that, as previously reported, the recording of homicide statistics on PULSE is currently under review by An Garda Síochána.
