Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if he will publish the terms of reference for the interim reports and final report regarding the reopening of six Garda stations on a pilot basis; the length of time the stations will be reopened as part of the pilot scheme; if other considerations will be given in determining if a pilot station will remain open on a full-time basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Justice and Equality

The report to which the Deputy refers was published on 30 September 2017, along with a letter from the Tánaiste and then Minister for Justice and Equality to the Garda Commissioner. I understand that the final report is due to be completed in the coming weeks and the Government will consider the matter in due course.
