View answerOn the basis of the latest reconciled data which relates to end-Q2 2017, there was a total of 269 (full-time equivalent) personnel serving in grades above Principal Officer in the Civil Service. These include officers in the grades of Secretary General, Second Secretary and Deputy Secretary plus officers serving in positions equivalent to these grades, for example Chief Parliamentary Counsel (equivalent to Secretary General), or Chief Medical Officer (equivalent to Deputy Secretary).
