Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the State bodies or boards that fall under the remit of her Department; and the number of members of each State body or board who are not qualified within the field for which the board or body has oversight. The statutory bodies operating under the aegis of my Department are the Citizens Information Board, the Pensions Authority, the Pensions Council, the Pensions Ombudsman, the Social Welfare Tribunal and the Low Pay Commission.

None of the above is a professional body or board within the meaning of the Deputy’s question.
