Deputy Pat Casey asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of fishing boats decommissioned from 2008 to 2014; the reasons for the decommissioning; the length and tonnage of each fishing boat; the sectors they fished; the cost per boat to decommission; the amount of money given to each owner to decommission; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
