268. Deputy Seán Haughey asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of a carer's support grant application by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45196/17]

Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection

My Department recently awarded 2016 and 2017 Carer’s Support Grants to the person concerned. An amount of €3,400 (€1,700 for 2016 and €1,700 for 2017) will be lodged to her nominated bank account on Thursday 26th October 2017.
