Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his views on the pay terms and working conditions of crew and staff at an organisation (details supplied); if his Department has been contacted by persons with concerns on working conditions; the steps that have been taken to investigate such concerns; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The pay terms and working conditions of the many people who work for Ryanair across Europe are a matter for the company and the employment authorities across Europe, including the Irish employment authorities. The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport has no function in relation to such matters.
