As the Deputy is aware, the CSO is the agency responsible for the provision of official statistics. Published national accounts data do not provide figures for the overall value of retail spend to the economy from tourists. However, I am aware that Fáilte Ireland produces estimates of the value of tourism to the Irish economy and those estimates indicate that retail expenditure by overseas tourists in Ireland in 2016 was in the region of €560 million.
