Questions (1060)

Robert Troy

Question:

1060. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason it can take up to 12 months for the NTA to make a decision on applications for a new route or a route change; and his views on whether this does not enable Bus Éireann to respond efficiently to market demands. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
