View answerWhen providing new accommodation or carrying out significant refurbishment works on buildings under its remit, the Office of Public Works addresses universal access requirements as part of the project design. This is captured within the overall project cost. Specific minor accessibility projects on existing State owned buildings are funded and addressed from within the OPW’s overall capital allocation.
