Question:

567. Deputy Thomas P. Written answers

The Deputy will be aware that the Garda Commissioner is responsible for the administration and control of An Garda Síochána, including in relation to charges levied in respect of the provision of Garda abstracts and statements. As Minister, I have no function in relation to the matter.

However, I have again requested the Garda Commissioner to provide the information requested and I can assure the Deputy that I will revert to him directly when it is to hand.
