626. Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Health if all front-line staff working in the public health system and related voluntary agencies receive suicide prevention training such as the HSE's SafeTALK suicide alertness for everyone half-day training programme or its equivalent; if suicide prevention training is mandatory across the public health system and related voluntary bodies; and, if not, his plans to make such training mandatory with the provision of a refresher online course available to staff to be completed every three years thereafter.
