Broughan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the number of persons in receipt of both domiciliary carer's allowance and a housing support payment (details supplied) in each of the years 2014 to 2016 and to date in 2017; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Rental Accommodation Scheme and Housing Assistance Payment are administered by the Local Authorities under the aegis of the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government.
