187. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine his plans to publish the final Greyhound Industry Bill 2017 that has already progressed through the pre-legislative scrutiny. [49647/17]
View answerAs stated by the Deputy, the draft General Scheme of the Bill has progressed through the pre-legislative scrutiny phase. It is hoped that a memorandum will go to Government in the coming weeks, which will request approval to publish the updated General Scheme and to submit it to the Office of Parliamentary Counsel for drafting.
