407. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the grants available to persons to build a shed to store potatoes or grain; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [51546/17]

The TAMS II Scheme provides generous grant rates for a comprehensive range of investment items, including grain stores. In addition potato stores may also be funded under TAMS as part of the Organic Capital Investment Scheme. The suite of seven measures available under the Scheme have proved to be very popular with Irish farmers with over 15,000 applications to be approved into the Scheme received to date. Payment claims for approved works that have been completed have been received from 2,838 farmers and just under €30m has been paid to date under the Scheme.
